Back ache

PmR and GCA sufferer i have now got a really bad pain in my lower back. If i sit still im ok but moving is really uncomfortable. Is this related or is it something else to worry about?

Where exactly? It could be sacroiliac problems - can be due to tight or spasmed back muscles. If it is muscular it could be piriformis syndrome. Both can be related to PMR although you can develop them without PMR too.
Try sitting upright with a warm hot water bottle across where it hurts - that will relax tight muscles. My doctors can be rather more proactive - with injections to relax the muscle but I'm not in the UK.

I have similar issues with significant lower back pain.
It can be any combination of PMR, spinal stenosis or a side effect of certain meds that cause back pain.
Check out all of the above.
