My second post today... I apologise for being repetitive sad I had a question...

Can anxiety cause itching?

I've often been prone to this in the past where my skin can suddenly 'flare up' and if I itch I get little raised bumps or patches...

I have noticed that since I have begun to relax more, come the evening my skin can get easily irritated and I come over very itchy for a while. Is it just anxiety? rolleyes

Definitely, you can get big red patches or just itchy spots, they usually really show up on wrists, neck and chest, but can pop up anywhere

Yes the problem is the more you scratch the worse they become. As with all itches

I get that too! Especially around my ankles and often on my hands. I also have a small patch of tiny bumps on the back of my leg and,it's freaking me out!

Yes anxiety can cause hives, rashes, itching, burning..the skin is reactive to anxiety.  If you continue to itch look into any meds you take and or new foods you are eating or new soaps being used.
