morning all. On my last post I told you about my spine burning tingling sensation. Groin and leg pain.  I have now seen the physio  and she gave me instructions on how to sit. Omg I'm still in pain still getting the burning itching groin and leg pain. So fed up. I also have body jerks when relaxing this has been going on for about 2 months and getting worse dizzy spells balance problems can't sleep for weeks then sleep for days so so fatigued all the time.iam going the loo20-30 times a day been put on antibiotics  twice and nothing has changed. Why don't these doctors listen to me.  It's my body and I know the pain and fatigue has got worse and seems so different.  To what I get with Fibro..does anyone else get al these symptoms. Iam so frustrated that they can't give me the answers. Al I get is its your fibro 😥😥😥😥 HELP

    Hi Gilly

Aaahhh bless you. It's so frustrating when GP's don't listen and totally agree they need to understand us as individual and not as another number.  Although I don't have burning tingling sensations in my spine, groin areas, but I do have hot burning hands and feet.  Like yourself it's all put down to fibro.  Sorry I don't have answers for you but really do feel for you.

I sure someone else on this forum will be able to assist further.

Take care and hope you have a good day. wink x

Do you take any magnesium supplements? I find them excellent although I'm told they can react badly with some medications. I also take vitamin B and regular hot baths in Epsom Salts (magnesium sulphate) which help the pain......

Hi Gilly, I'm sure the doctor has checked your blood sugars hasn't he? The reason I ask is that some of your symptoms sound a lot like diabetes. Unfortunately a lot of your symptoms do sound like Fibro

Sorry IPad had a funny do!! My fibro changes regularly, I often go to the doc with something new just in case it's something else, I apologised to the doctor but he said it was best to get new symptoms checked out. I currently have burning/tingling feeling just left of my spine, the feeling that someone is driving a lance through my thigh and tingling/burning/numbness in my hands. I'm seeing a rheumatologist to rule out nerve damage to my spine. It's a long hard climb, it's easiest to try and accept what's going on, that's easy for me to say, I've had it around twenty years, but try.

    hope you feel better soon

    very best wishes

Thankyou shelagh  for your reply sometimes it gets too much for me as you know all these different things going on in our body's some days it just gets too much for me. It gets me so down when even your gp looks at you and doesn't know what to do.  But I will keep on fighting as we do. You take care and hope you are ok x

Hi Gilly, when you say going to the loo, I assume you mean to empty your bladder? If this is the case I would ask to be referred to a Urologist. Yes, it may be due to your FM, but it isn't necessarily so! If you are only passing small amounts it could be that your bladder has become 'irritable'. This may or may not be due to FM, but either way, can be treated. Good luck. xx

Hi and thankyou for your reply. Yes I go to empty my bladder lol  I have suffered with this since last Xmas had 2 lots of anti bi went to physio whitch to me was useless . And still no change  this is all new to me as I have had FM CFS/ME for 10 years.  It just seems that they don't care and it gets me so angry. When you are left just to get on with it.  Hope you are well and take care x

Hi Gilly, I would def ask your GP for referral to a Urologist. I have previous experience of working in a department with patients who suffered symptoms such as yours, and were able to be treated after some investigation, such as a bladder pressure study, which is undignified but worth it for the results which lead to treatment. Good luck. xx

    Hi Gilly,

Yes I get burning sensation across my lower back (feels like my skin has been burnt) and neck too, with tingling and numbness in my hands and feet every day on waking, for years. Its definately the Fibro as I have had many tests and seen untold specialists none of whom had the answers until I saw the Rheumatologist who diagnosed FMS and CFS. There are many nerves under your skin and these are what cause the sensations. I also get what feels like tremors and electric shock shooting pains in my body ...anywhere...randomly.

Sometimes we just want validation of our symptoms to reassure us we aint going mad, well thats how I feel.

I hope you find some relief from your symptoms. I have just started taking Tramadol of an evening and its making me feel really relaxed (not drowsy) but kinda peaceful. Lets hope I dont get any side effects from these as i do with other meds ...quite annoying. Allergies and side effects are also symptoms of FM.

    Very best wishes to you

    Angie
