Back injury

hi all. i fell from chair whilst adjusting curtains. i hit a small amp that i use for playing music through. i called doc who prescribed vimovo 500/20 tabs 28 in all plus paracetamol. ive taken 2 tabs so far and there is some improvement. but still sore and when I bend down to the left, its very sore but to the right is no problem. the injury is to my right lower back near the lower rib. idont have pins and needles or shortness of breath. also there is no bruising to be seen, unusual as im diabetic who should bruise easily. any advice welcome and appreciated.. cheers Kevin.

    I would just give it time to heal & get better & take regular anti-inflammatories & paracetamol. Try heat too as increasing blood flow to the sore area will help it to heal. Keep moving around though so you don't stiffen up. If its not better by 6 weeks though i would speak to doctor again. Good luck & hope it gets better soon.

    Hi Tom it sounds like you have badly bruised yourself while falling, bruising can be very painful and last for 2-4 weeks. Painkillers and plenty of rest may be your best form of action good luck.Hope you are feeling better very soon.

    Hi

    You may get hot water therapy temporary and also you should meet with chiropractic doctor he will suggest for diagnosis then prescribe.
