Judy, I remember experiencing a sort of weakness/pain in the top of my neck particuarly in my non-diagnosis days.  A heated electric pad used to help but when it was at its worst, I resorted to a surgical collar.

Judy, have you had your blood pressure taken recently. It could be high blood pressure? Regards, christina

I've had the blurry eyes too. Started when I was at the higher doses of Pred. I noticed that when I was driving, my distance vision was off. Scared me to death too, because all I could think of was GCA, but the eye doctor saw no sign of problems and told me he thought it was the Prednisone. Later it turned into feeling like I was in a blank stare all the time and couldn't pull my eyes out of it. Back to the eye doctor and again he said my eyes were fine. It wasn't until I had 4 more tapers that my vision started to return towards normal.
