Back on Citalopram now 12 days after screwing up doses royally. Also on trazadone for the past 9 days. Am feeling extremely anxious ?

Thought I was turning the corner to feeling better, but today feel like crap. Dark and hopeless. Is this a normal trend when returning to citalopram. I am hoping I will feel better soon. Sometimes I feel like I have permanent brain damage due to the continual treadmill of thinking of the same hopeless thought and worry over and over and over again. Any insights would be appreciated. Not having a good day at all thank you.

I have tried so hard to get off the dreaded citrapram. Hope I don't have to go back onto it but I haven't been

good for some weeks. I'm anxious and weepy. But then I have got LOTS of other

    medical problems.

Good luck to you. Hope you get through.

Hi jeanne, Sorry your feeling low , anxiety, stress, depression is difficult to cope with , if you need anti depressants to help you get through a difficult period dont be afraid. I have just gone back on them after 18 months off them I was struggling trying to deal with financial worries, family health issues aswell as my own on top of other stuff. The hope is that AD will help us cope with these difficult times.

    Hope you feel better soon
