Back on fluoxetine :(

I've just been put back on fluoxetine 20mg after 5 months med free. For about 7 years I've had so much trouble finding a medication that works for me. Tried 8 or 9 different ones....they worked for a short time then stopped, higher doses made me feel a lot worse, either that or the side effects were too severe. I felt like all the messing about with meds was making me worse so I decided to try without anything for a while and was doing good for a bit until a few weeks ago all the telltale signs have been steadily creeping back in. Fluoxetine is one of the few that did work for me albeit not for a long time, so doc has put me back on this. I'm only on day 3 so very early days. I really didn't want to have to go back on meds, but I suppose it's got to be done.
