Back on them - food advice

Hi guys,

Started these in the summer and lost a stone, then messed around and have now convinced my dr to try again. Need to shift 2 1/2 stone

Breakfast in the Summer was easy as I love smoothies, I'm struggling what to eat now. Been on these 17 days and im up and down with my weight. Lost 6 pounds, put back on 3, dropped 2 - I know I'm not doing this right.

Any support and ideas greatly welcomed as I need to shift this fat and know I won't get a second chance if there isn't an improvement in my weight loss.

I've started at the gym, so that's going well. Just need this food on point and obvious signs are telling me I'm still off track

    Hi Collette

I started on them in the middle of August. Don't take them all the time especially when I'm working as can't risk it. Had 2 months off and just Gone back on them. I lost 2 stone but half back on but got that off before I started the tablets again. I could loose more if I stuck to it which I'm trying to do. I have just fruit for breakfast or porridge then a banana mid morning, salad or low fat soup with no bread for dinner another piece of fruit in the afternoon and then a normal tea. Spag bol with quorn, chicken rice veg, fish or salmon with new potatoes. I do have other meals like chilli lasagne but find I still loose the weight as eat not a lot during the day.

Hope this helps snd good luck 😊

HI Jesslou, thanks for the reply. ive been on the them a month and not lost a thing.. so frustrating. think im eating all the wrong foods. i looked at porridge, oats so simple but it was over 5g of fat. im eating weetabix atm but sure eating that every day will get boring. i lost weight on these last time and nothing this time. think im eaitng too much carbs thou. Will try soup or salad for lunch. I do eat alot of veg. maybe cut back on the carbs, got 1 month left of tablets before i go back and will need to show i have lost some weight or they wont give them to me again. thanks for taking the time to reply. ;-)

I try to eat food that hasn't got more than 5 grams fat in and don't eat much bread at all. If we are having garlic bread I make my own garlic butter so can control the amount of fat in it.

I have never been weighed at the doctors. They don't seem to bother with it. I've lots of loose, want to get rid of 3 stone by june. Just need to be strick with myself. The gym will help you too. Just watch when your eating, if you eat 1-2 hours before working out will burn it off more. 😃
