Hi - A new symptom I have been having lately and dont know whether it is related to IBS or not but I have lower right back discomfort not really pain as sunch but tender and uncomfortable just below hip - tender to touch and feels better after I have a bowel movement sometimes - it hurts when sitting or driving my car - on and off for the past 6 months. Do you think its related to ibs - I went to doctor this morning who said it might be a muscle. I did notice the other week while on holiday and doing no driving it was a lot better - unless I was less stressed sad

    I haven't had that symptom, so I couldn't say if it's IBS related or not. It is strange that it goes away after a bowel movement. I'm sorry I'm not much help. I hope you can find some answers.
