Back pain

hi guys, new to patient.

I have recently began training calisthenics at the gym, and have enjoyed, although after a session on monday i am in pain. I have deep pain in my mid to upper back, and the pain is sharp when i retract my scapula a certain way, stretch the wrong way, or breathe deeply. I feel like i may have sprained something, however as i have some health anxiety i am thinking the worst by researching, thinking i have a blood clot lol. The pain only comes when i move a certain way, i have tried stretching but it just hurts.

Anyone had something similar, know what it is, or what i can do to relieve the pain and help it heal?

thanks

Hi i hate upper back pain, it used to always have me thinking the worst.

Its thoracic pain and is usually brought on by exercise that pulls on the muscles.

i have messaged you a site to check out with ways to ease it.

Hot flannels really helps and walking about

i would still make one because i can honestly say it will more than likely return and at least then you will know that your not causing further damage.
