What's the diagnosis? Why are you going to PT? What's the root cause of your pain?

The MRI should (maybe) give you a definitive diagnosis regarding the root cause of your main. I've had this many, many, many times over decades. Misalignment of hips/pelvis and locked SI joints can all impact the sciatica nerve. In those cases, a chiropractor fixed me up in a few minutes to a few weeks, depending on the cause.
Only one time did were the x-rays and MRI inconclusive so my neurosurgeon had to go in. Found a bone spur literally crushing my sciatica nerve root at L4/L5. Decompressive laminectomy and spur removal took 90-minutes, same day procedure, immediate relief...done.
