You have obviously disturbed a formerly quiet area into inflammation of some sort and hopefully it will just subside.  I went for a course of physio and experienced the same onset of new pains.  Whether this is supposed to be a good thing or not, I am no expert.  All I can say is that I discontinued the course immediately and she agreed it was not benefiting me.  You can take anti inflammatories like ibuprofen and hope it settles down again.  I am back to square one but at least not with anything additional.

I am on blood thinners so also cannot take ibuprofen (or should not) but now and then feel justified in the odd dose when pain hits a high.  Mostly I take paracetamol on a daily basis.  After a burn as you describe it, that area usually goes numb so that now I have several areas like that on my legs, including outer thighs.  I am convinced that I have a trapped nerve but although they wanted to do an MRI scan, this cannot be done as I have a pacemaker which is not MRI friendly!!!  Hopefully this is not your lot and you should press your GP for a hospital referral for a scan as this is probably the only way to find out the cause.  In any case it sounds as if you need a simple X-ray of the hip to see if there is anything obvious at the very least.

Burning in the bottom and in the lower back sounds as though it could be sciatica. Physio' was of no benefit for me and I don't subscribe to the 'no pain, no gain' theory. You need futher investigation, x-ray/MRI/CT to get definitive information but preferably a referral to either an orthopaedic spinal specialist or neurosurgeon. Quick diagnosis should then allow you to get targeted help to alleviate the pain. Will keep my fingers, toes and eyes crossed for you👀
