Back pain one month after ufe

Posted , 6 users are following.

Had my life on may 26. Four weeks later I developed a stabbing pain in my back. Went to er and they did a cat scan which showed a large mass. Radiologists believe it is a cluster of fibroids. Was sent home with Percocet and told to follow up with obgyn. Has anyone else had this type of reaction?

Thanks. The worst part is that I just left my teaching job where I had insurance. Now I have to go buy insurance before I can do any follow up. Am starting a new job tomorrow and will have to take pain meds to get through the day....

      Hi,

I had my UFE on 4th June 2020, it's almost 3 weeks and my condition is similar to yours. I still have back ache, pain in right leg, pain in vaginal area..not sure what to do.

I have been taking 2 1,000 mg of fish oil because it is an anti inflammatory and 8,000 IU a day of vitamin D because I read that women that were low on Vitamin D had a significantly larger chance of having fibroids. It has been helping me. I do not have any pain nor have I ever from the fibroids, but I would have crazy periods. Sometimes they would last a month long or I would bleed for a whole month. Now it at least stops with very light spotting. I am 48 and hoping to go in to menopause soon so these things will shrink and I won't have to worry about it anymore.

    Hello all ,

i had my UFE in November and now it's around 7+ months . I never had pain with fibroids but my main concern was my horrible periods . First 6 months not big change . My weight was same . I was great in doing walks which was stopped after UFE because of tired ness . Doctor prescribed me iron tablets and for  periods tranxamic acid tabs .  After 6 months review in scanning gynecologist said they are shrinking . So after six months I started few bits from my side .

. I started doing my walks again . To start with was very tiring and fleets are very painful but didn't give up

. Stared taking everyday apple cider vinegar two tiny spoons with chilled water .

. Started taking black strap molasses one spoon everyday with warm water

. Reduced eating junk like bread , cake , cheese and biscuits . Because somewhere I read processed food , feeds fibroids

. Completely stop my iron tablets .

After doing all these changes I got some positive results from last two months

. My periods going normal ( 4-5 days . Used to be more than week and tremendously heavy)

. I can do two times a week more than 5+ mile walk each time

. Not feeling anymore tired ness

. No body pain when I woke in the morning

hope this post help you guys .

I also had to take blackstrap molasses and apple cider vinegar to help with pain. But I also have fibroid cyst on my ovary. I listen very carefully to my body so I don’t eat fried foods and yes had to give up any kind of candy and stick with fruits vegetables and very clean simple diet. I had a UFE done last year but the doctor didn’t do the job right. I go in for a second UFE in July or August 2020 I hope this helps.
