Did they start together suddenly or separately/gradually over a period of time ?

Are you having difficulty in walking or any neuropathy type symptoms. ?

I think I know exactly what's wrong with you..I think you have a condition called polymyalgia rheumatica. you are entirely too young to have this which is why the doctors have not given you this diagnosis. But it is possible. I haven't heard of anyone your age getting it but I know of people who have had this diagnosis in their 30s. it would be worth it to try to convince your doctors to let you start on a prednisone pack. Basically a prednisone pack is where you started on a higher level say 20 or 30 milligrams and then you taper slowly to nothing. if your pain goes away during this time it's probably going to be PMR. it is technically known as an old person's disease. And I've even known doctors to resist giving the diagnosis to someone who is only 50. it should be worth a 10-day period of Prednisone trial. Google polymyalgia rheumatica and see if it doesn't match your symptoms. prednisone Is a dangerous drug if taken long term but a short duration like I'm suggesting is intended as a diagnostic tool not a treatment. one last thought, has your rheumatologist tested you for rheumatoid arthritis? you can get RA at your age. Frankly you can get it at a much younger age.
