I'm in a similar predicament, I am meant to fly out to France/Swiss Alps on Saturday to snowboard, but seriously injured my knee 3 weeks ago. It is healing well, I was advised no sports for 3 months but to see how it was for my holiday. So it wasn't completely ruled out.

I'm going to try and ride and take it super easy, stick to greens and if you feel pain just stop and rest.

As long as your real careful and don't push yourself I would try. Pain is your body telling you to stop.
