Back to work after 4 weeks

Hi all, I've been off for 4 weeks taking sertraline, starting to feel more like myself again. But I'm going back into work tomorrow, and the anxiety is creeping back in. I am only going in for a chat, not a shift, and I miss my job, but I'm preempting a panic attack, and just running out of the building to escape, which I know will only happen if I continue with this train of thought.

Anyone struggled getting back out of their homes and into work after this long?

Thanks,

J

I would think that thinking about what could happen is causing anxiety. 4 weeks is still early for major improvement but some people do feel better. It usually takes 6 to 8 weeks. Don't know what dosage ur on , but give it time to get totally in ur system. Sorry i wasn't much help.

Do some deep breathing before you go in. Take a bottle of water and some mints or something. You are doing brilliantly..I was off for 8 months.

    Good luck
