Hi,

Had a hysterectomy and bladder repair on the 13th of December, I’m in so much pain with my back 😥 I’ve been walking as much as I can but it’s not getting any better, I’m taking anti inflammatory and paracetamol, is anyone else suffering back pain ?

Hysterectomy on December 15. Back pain began 1 week later. Needed more pain meds than post-op. Started improving some on Christmas day but still taking pain med daily. Planning to request physical therapy.

Stop walking so much and rest! It's very early days your body is telling you to slow down. Don't lift anything over 5 lbs, accept all offers of help. Good luck.

    Hello!

I had my hysterectomy Sept. 2016. I always had associated my lower back pain with my periods. Now since i don't have that anymore i dont get what is happening with my lower back? If I stand to long I can hardly bend over or bend down. I am in a lot of pain and my back feels if i bend over its just gonna disconnect from my body. I am having this lower back pain too! Thank You

      Hi,

I went to my doctors about my back problem and she’s put me on stronger meds, today my back feels a lot bettersmile it’s 3 wks tomorrow since my op and I’m starting to feel a lot better, not being able to do your normal every day things definitely affects people with back issues. Go seek help from your doctor. Hope this helps smile
