Hi Sarah, sorry you're having a not-so-good day... The benefit of what you've put out today is that spinal stenosis will actually be BETTER with forward bending, so if that's the cause, the stenosis would open up away from your spinal nerves and so this one may more or less be more of a muscular issue, kinda like going for a workout for a body part that you haven't worked out for quite a while...Have you had a movement assessment or physio take a peak at ya?

i have been for workout i agree this could be muscular but what i meant to say is they think could be spinal stenosis there not sure but have not been diagonsed with any thing as yet i do have Ostseoporosis they did say i have nerve damage in both legs but in my right leg i can not feel my leg in touch but just lately when i go to put arms above my head to either put curtains up or wash windows it hurts my arms just lately been get lot back spams and i am getting lot back pain because for months i have had sciatica in my right side it never goes even when i had physio had this but do not see the neurosurgeon until 16th september of this year i'm losing weight but also i like old lady because when bend like takes me good 10 minutes to get up straight just so painful cannot remmeber the last time had sleep had sleep i have get up to turn over that not muscular that's not right but thanks for comment.

You may seriously appreciate the book 'treat your own back' from Robin McKenzie, usually in used book stores or at amazon for around $10... It does an excellent job at helping you understand the 'why' and the 'how' to solve the issue. The stiffness you're discussing and difficulty getting back upright absolutely sounds like you're a fit for this self treatment.
