Pain relief has been the topic in the last week.  If you look at some of the other posts you'll see what I mean.  If you are in pain you need to talk to either your GP or phone the number on your hospital release card for advice.  The combinations of meds are different for everybody.  You need medical advice.  However several people like you have had their meds changed due to too much pain so you are not alone.  Don't wait till Christmas, get on the phone ASAP and hopefully you'll soon be feeling a lot better! Good luck and let us know how you get on!

Yes I've been back for meds, believe me ,I'm on pracacetamol. Codeine and  naproxen,  nothing seems to touch it.   The Dr has said its nerve pains and the trauma to the foot, but I'm really beginning to  wonder if something has gone   wrong. It's been x rayed and that looks ok. It's really getting me down..

Oh, I literally feel your pain.... I posted a few days ago and had to get the GP out next day. She gave me Tramadol which I take if really bad pain. Now, I am not so sore, but if my feet are down or painting downwards when sitting more than 5-10 mins, they are very sore and need elevated😰. The best thing was stronger painkillers & lots of elevation.... Hope you feel better....

Sorry to hear that Anita,  have you talked to the hospital as sometimes they can change the combo of drugs more effectively than a GP.  It's a long time to be in  such pain, I'm so sorry.  Also are you doing too much?  Are you resting enough? Hopefully someone will give you a useful tip on this forum which will do the trick.  Take care!
