bad day can't walk :(

waiting on a call from my doc today's a really bad day can hardly walk knees all swollen and fingers sharp pains all over my body swollen biscep muscles so no strengh in my arms feeling really drained no work for me today a day of rest

    Oh bless you hun hope your dr can help sort you out. Try a cold compress on your knees and sit with your legs up placed on pillows as high as you can. Ive got badly swollen ankles my knee is swollen to day.You have my every sympathy on the struggling to walk front. My mobility has got worse since last year. I know have to use a wheelchair. get all the help support you can. Can you work part time or claim pip or esa. rest up take care gentle hugs xx

      thanks for your reply I only work dinners at a school 7.5hrs a week and struggling todo that at moment I haven't been given any aids to help me walk hopefully doc can give me some help with that today sorry to hear u r bad too the cold winter weather really doesn't help x

    Oh sara, feel really bad for you that you vant walk. I really hope your dr can give you the relief you need. Im in a lot of pain right now but i dont have swollen joints like you have. I get sharp pains in my legs every once in a while and i too have a hard time walking. Ollday a prayer for you sara, you take care. Be strong. Hugs 😁

      Hi Sarapainfree;  are you taking any meds at all (especially any anti-inflammatories, such as Brufen/naprosan), these I know Do cause swelling, and should only be used for short periods of time............there are many other pain meds assiciated for relief of pain for Fibro I think this is what your question came under the heading of??)....and seeing a Rhuematologist is a very good start to having these other meds trialed if you havn't already?.....can you let us/me know what you do take, and see if anything is of similar value to what we have trialed?  There are also many supplements that I take that help me to cope, as well as Natural Therapies, including Physio and massages, to relieve the muscular pains/tension..................will be looking out for your reply...........Bron
