Bad days after 4 weeks on sertraline?

Hi everyone so I started sertraline coming up to 4 weeks ago now and don’t get me wrong the first 2 weeks were awful . I’m feeling a lot more possative and people around me say they can see a change but I’m still having these “bad days” where basically I feel like I’m in a dream or floating like in my own little world tiny bit anxious but is this normal after 3 weeks I mean I cope I just sit and say to myself “you’re just having a bad day you can get through it” but is anyone else like this ?

Yes Demi, I am on my 13th week and I do have days that I get anxiety. It really depends on what stress I'm having. I do have alot more good days than bad. What dose are u on? I have been taking 50, might have to up it .

Hi,  I posted yesterday this is my 7th week on Sertaline. Doctor started me on 50mg as I had to taper off mirtazapine. She said 50mg is such a low dose so after 2 weeks upped it to 100mg. Weeks 3 and 4 on Sertraline it really  kicked in and I felt so much better!

However now into week 5 and feel back to how I felt before again which is so frustrating! I stupidly drank too much alcohol at the weekend so am hoping that's the cause andbt will be back on track soon! I've also been up at my Dads this week as he has recently been diagnosed with cancer so that's been pretty stressful! Oh and last Fri I started my repeat prescription but it's a different brand so can't help thinking that's something to do with it!

I guess I'm sharing my experience again (I posted yesterday on another feed) for reassurance and also to let you know it seems to be an up and down journey with this tablet!
