Bad episode of anxiety and panic attacks

Hi past few days my anxiety has come back with a bang. My heart is racing all the time, I feel sick and fear something is wrong. I can't seem to get a hold of it, it just keeps spiralling and feeling worse and worse. Guess I'm looking for some reassurance. I didn't go in to work today, my main support network is my mum who is away for two weeks which I think is making me more anxious because I'm alone. I feel like I'm going crazy and losing my mind ! Is this normal ?

How long have you been taking sertraline? How much? Yes this is how I've been for the best part of 8 weeks

I did the same thing was on 75 for a year and reduced to 50 a few weeks later absolutely awful. I went straight back to 75 and within a few days felt better.

I've been on sertraline 50mg for about a year now took quite a while to kick in. I was on citralopram before but found sert are much better for lifting mood and keeping anxiety at a low. I think this bad episode is due to reducing it myself I just hope my body adjusts and don't have to go back up to 50mg

Hi I was on Citalopram for years but had to change to Sertraline a few weeks ago, still feel low, lethargic and upset. Just need someone to share with really. Only my husband knows, so have not shared with any friends

I changed from citralopram to sert and it does getter better, I felt awful for about 8 weeks but after that I went back to feeling 'normal' seems like no light at the end of tunnel but there is and it does get better. One day at a time. Don't put no pressure on yourself take it easy
