Bad Foot injury, need guidance

I twisted my ankle skateboarding, heard a pop then got dizzy and threw up everywhere. Went to Dr. and this is what they found after MRI and X-rays:

  1. marrow edema within the mid foot involving cuneiform bones, cuboid bone and first through fourth metatarsal bases consistent with bone contusions.
  2. sprain with partial tearing of the lisfranc ligament. Alignment is maintained at TMT joints.
  3. soft tissue edema about the mid foot consistent with patients history.
  4. mild bursitis involving the first intermetatarsal space.

Went to 2 specialist, both said surgery is not needed. Will be in a boot and on crutches for 6 weeks non weight baring, then able to walk in the boot(not sure how long I will have to walk in the boot or if I will need PT).

I am wondering how long it may take to recover from this? How long until I am able to skate again? I know it is hard to say but an estimate would be greatly appreciated. It happened 2 - 1/2 weeks ago and the swelling and bruising has gone down significantly. Also, the pain has started to decrease significantly.

I am in a boot and on crutches non weight bearing for 6 weeks. This injury has my very anxious and it would be nice to get a recovery time estimate. (I'm 21 yo, not sure if this effects anything).
