Bad LS flare up in anal area

I was diagnosed  by a in biopsy in 2013. I was suffering from what I thought was hemorrhoids,  I would have one flare up after another one. I had never heard of Lichens Sclerosis. It was only after the surgeon  removed two of my precious hemorrhoids that were covered with white spots  .Unfortunately , it was a week later when I was informed about the Lichens. Now fast forward to today five years later , the area that the biopsy was taken from, a white shiny circular area eight above my rectum.

?Since that terrible day I have had more outbreaks than I can remember, each one is a little worse than the other, the area where I was biopsied and the surgical incision  become sore and itch like crazy, I also have swelling in the area . This is a terrible disease, but we have to keep trying things  as what works for one person may not work for another person.

?ITCHING , if you are bothered by this symptom try Castor Oil. honestly  that is the only thing that gives me any relief. I have also tried Beamer Therapy which works by increasing blood /oxygen supply to the affected area. This treatment has potential, it does seem to stop the flare up from progressing.

?I have tried various oils, creams rubs and home made concoctions just to keep

I too find castor oil with a couple of drops of lavender essential oil effective, especially overnight.  I tend to alternate on a weekly, daily basis, other oils, like jojoba, camelina, hemp; and different commercial natural products with paypaya, aloe, chamomile, etc.

I to suffer from hemroids and was diagnosed with LS in December I didn't know they could go hand in hand... if I'm hearing you right are you say that they go hand in hand or that after you had the surgery to get rid of them the LS made things hard to recover... I have them very bad and i am debating surgery for them thankfully my LS is under control but I cant figure out anything for the hemroids so surgery is looking like the best option. Do you have and advice about it that may help me out. Thanks in advance.

I was diagnosed with LS 2 months ago. Before I was diagnosed I tried everything under the sun for the itch. I found olive oil mixed with tea tree oil gave me so much relief from the horrible itching. It also healed up some pretty terrible spots I had. I am now using castor oil mixed with lavender and tee tree oil works wonders. I do have the clob steroid cream that my OB prescribed but I rarely use it. Both of the oil mixtures I mentioned above will give you immediate relief.
