hello, i had rectocele and entrocele surgey on may 20th about 5 weeks ago is it normal to have a very very painful period after these surgeries i also bleed a lot and i mean a lot any help would be awesome thanks

I would also be interested to know. Mine have been quite bad since my repairs were done and my doctor pretty much dismissed it.

hi there. im 8 weeks post op....anterior repair and have had two periods. they were both horrific to say the least. crampy n heavy. im hoping this willcalm down and have been told they should do.its the fact i have to wear pads that get me down and i cant seem to get anyone to agree on when going back to tampons is ok. ive had 6 weeks to 6 months. ....argh. surgeon sayd when u feel ready.......lol..... i guess its all early days and we have to be patient but rubbish periods seem to be not unusual. xx

i have also noticed that my anterior repair feels like it has prolapsed again the week before myperiod. its really uncomfortable sitting n walking. im now 9 weeks post op. have u noticed this. i think its probs the cervix moving before period but im so paranoid about any change....argh.
