If your dental health is up to date and you still have that bad breath, you may have what is called Tonsil Stones (Tonsillolith), which is the formation of a white mass that can appear in the tonsils due to the accumulation of food residues, saliva and cells from the mouth, being responsible for bad breath, sore throat and, in some cases, difficulty swallowing.
This problem is usually rather chronic as far as I know, so to avoid it, it is necessary to maintain some care such as drinking lots of water and gargling with mouthwash or a solution of warm water, vinegar, and salt.
Anyway, I advise you to see a dentist or an ENT doctor first.
