bad side affects from 20mg duloxetine

Sorry to hear about your pain but I take it for depression so can't really comment on the pain relief. Wish you all the best. However if the side effects are intoreable then I suggest speaking to your gp and not continue.

thanks for your reply think for me this is going to be another case of this med is no good for me it leaves me in bed as so I'll and can't really afford to be like that with 4children and a job todo hard anuff getting threw the day with the fibro x

If it is THAT bad, I definitely would stop.  When I went up to 40mg (with the goal of 60mg for full therapeutic effect) I started shaking as if I had Parkinsons.  It was BAD.  I was at Girl Scouts, simply trying to carry a spoon with sugar on it to the table, and it flipped off everywhere.  I couldn't reach up to turn a page on my kindle.  I dropped back off and am still taking 20 but so far no therapuetic affect.  For me the "spaced out" affect definitely didn't leave me in bed or even affect anything, it was more like I just felt a sense of well being, I don't know, I can't explain it but not overly huge.  I don't know if Savella would work for you but it took all of my fibro symptoms away...but I had a rapid heart beat with it.  Good luck, I hopen you find something that will help for you without side affects.

thankyou for your message glad u have found meds that work for u iv been on a lot lately from gapapentin to tramadol other depression meds that work for pain etc and so far they have made me physically sick or sleepy it's horrible my body doesn't seem to agree with it iknow it can take time but I couldn't be ill like that everyday x
