Bad Urine Odor taking Gabapentin

Has anyone had a bad urine odor taking gabapentin? I noticed after I started taking it that my urine would really smell bad. Sorry I know this is unpleasant, but I wanted to see if I am the only one experiencing this side effect. I have been on Gabapentin 300mlg going on 3 months and it's not helping I have diabetic neuropathy in my feet. I think I dont really need to take it if it's not really helping me.

    May be you should speake with your Doctor and ask for your dose to be lncreased 300 mg is a very low dose .

    I had the same issue, it was a Urinary Tract Infection. Since being on Gabapenting, it's the 2nd time I have had infections in my body with absolutely no symptoms. I have learned that Gabapentin makes your body more prone to infections. Go to your doctor for a urine test. Left untreated they can be very dangerous.
