Bad urologist

I took my son to see a pediatric urologist. The urologist failed to do relevant tests on our son. This infuriated me. None of my questions were answered satisfactorily either. I am going to write a letter to complain about this doctor who essentially wasted my time for no reason. During the appointment I told him I wanted a urodynamics study done to check Daniel’s bladder function. My request was refused. I’m trying to figure out who I should send the letter of complaint about my son’s urologist to. We will also be switching specialists immediately as well. I have also asked for recommendations for better paediatric urology doctors in my area. What is the point of being a doctor or therapist if you are not willing to answer any questions etc?

Firstly, what are the problems with your son? Secondly, where in the world are you, and thirdly, the main thing is to get your son treated for whatever problem and then lastly make any complaints you may have to the authorities.

This may not seem relevant but it is. Treatments and test's differ. Where are you?UK USA ect, also is this about bed wetting or long term problems? You see we need more information to help or even advise. However if it's annoyance at the urologist for his apparent lack of care whilst I have been there myself you should direct them towards the hospital and BMC (British medical council) if ur UK based.
