Bad Withdrawals

hi, I was only in this drug for 5 days at 25mg, I had serious side effects so doctor told me to come off, this way 3days ago and boy have these side effects got worse. My skin is burning, just had the worst night sleep ever, major heartbeats, this is scary stuff. Please tell me this gets better.

    Hi Lisa

    I have been taking sertraline on and off for a number of years. I suffer with anxiety. When I initially commence sertraline my symptoms to get worse, I can’t sleep and this lasts for a couple of weeks. Maybe your doctor could give you a low dose Valium for the first couple of weeks to take when you feel really awful. I take mine in the morning and feel anxious, by evening I feel calmer. Hope this helps

      No just to help with increased anxiety in the first couple of weeks. They are highly addictive so you will only be given a small amount but for the first two weeks. I got 10 tablets 2 mg strength

      I’m not sure if you can get withdrawal after 5 days of usage but I’m not an expert so don’t know for certain
