Bags under eyes (It has been more than one year)

Hi folks,

I just have some quick questions. I got sick in May 2018 and am much better now, but I still have eye bags, which only appeared when I got mono. Never had them before that. For anyone that has had them, do they ever go away? It really isn't that big a deal but I'm curious as I would rather them go away. Maybe it's like the last indicator of when I'm going to be completely over this virus? I feel so much better this summer but I still have off days. So yeah, just wondering if anyone has any answers to this.

Take care everyone

My whole system was off at first but a year later now and everything is good so that doesn't seem to be it

    Hey Dominika,

It's always great to see a message from you, and pleased to hear that generally you have been doing well. You've come a long way you really have! I think everyone on the forum is proud of you how you have handled what you've been through at an early stage in your life. Hoping and believing that more improvements are still to come for you.

Sorry to hear about those eye bags Dominika, it's not something I know too much about unfortunately. It may well be something related with the mono, I wouldn't be surprised as it can cause so many things, maybe worth asking someone who is a real specialist in mono or post-viral type things about that. But definitely if you can stay away from trawling the internet as sometimes it can just let your mind run away with itself. Maybe there's some herbs or cream or products that could help with something like that, just not sure what they are myself! Hoping someone with some good info / knowledge in this area could offer some good advice here?

Keep in touch Dominika, and hope you continue to feel well.

    Craig

Me too! Never had them before and had them terrible during the worst of my illness. I still have issues with it, but it's gotten a little better.
