    Hi,

Sorry, but thankfully I have not had a baker's cyst.

    Looks painful.

I'm sure your doctor could sort it?

    Best wishes & Take care,

    Alan

talk to your Dr. I've never had one in the knee area but several people on this forum have had them and complained about the discomfort. I believe there are several ways of getting rid of them. I had one on my wrist years ago and as I recall, the Dr injected it with something and it was gone in a couple of weeks. Hurt like heck when I had it.

    Hello jaqs

I too had a Bakers Cyst. I had an ultra sound when it was drained. I had a great deal of fluid and it was very close to bursting. I subsequently underwent and Arthroscopy, then within six months a TKR last July.

if there is anything you would like to ask me then please do

Where do you live? I live in London UK and my NHS GP was not interested at all. In fact he didn't even diagnose it. I pay for Private health insurance and had it done that way.

I agree that they are very uncomfortable and painful and unfortunately they normally come hand in glove with arthritis.
