Barometric pressure

Yesterday I was very sore with pain in hips, shoulder, feet and wrist- diagnosed in Nov 2017 with PMR symptoms and probable RA.
The barometric pressure was very low and we had some rain and lightning storm. Today the pain has eased considerably with not additional pain medication. Have others noticed pain increases with changes in weather?

YES!!!! even my sinus gets messed up for a couple days because of it.. I'm sure that's why older ppl go to FL and CA-- their arthritis feels better.

For me I have noticed also that the more wheat products i eat the worse I am, have also talked to rheumotogist about this, she tested me to see if I was celiac, and asked me to re-introduce wheat to my diet, only made me worse, so cut it out again, without asking her, just told her the result.
The last few months she said to me whatever you are doing keep doing it as your blood ESR and CRP have never been better, maybe I am lucky and my flare of the last 15 years has settled down, but also weird that it has coincided with the lack of wheat.
Could I suggest maybe worth a try to see how you go, I notice the difference within say about 6 hours, the pain in my shoulders is less when I eat less wheat, not easy as I love a piece of toast for breakfast, you will not starve if you try it for a few days, then see if it makes a difference.

Does the cold weather also affect people? I haven’t been too bad over this winter in NZ but it has been quite mild?

Well I always thought I got worse in damp or cold weather as that’s what everyone says but I have had a bad flare up in the hot summer we have had too, I believe mine is brought on by stress, my job is very mentally draining, or if I am worried about something, I have RA and was diagnosed a couple of years now, like many RA sufferers I never know what I am going to wake up to each day when having a flare up, I get red marks where my pain is too, especially on my hands, so painful it can be even though I am on methotrexate (8 per week) and just had a steroid injection a week ago but I am still suffering, I really worry for my future
