Barrett’s Esophagus

I got diagnosed with Barretts about 4 weeks ago

I'm a wreck. Thank God I have no dysplasia though. He gave me protonix which is a PPI, to take and see him in 3 months. He gave me no diet to follow, which is unreal, bc they know nothing about nutrition to begin with. The pills did crap, so I stopped them.

I don't know what to do now. I'm going to get a book by this otolaryngologist, Dr Johnathan Aviv, and follow his diet. My friend recommended it to me. HE seems to know all about GERD and Barretts . Ugh! I'm so scared to eat anything,,, I just pray this doesn't progress into anything worse! I'm a hypochondriac to begin with, and Dr Google just makes it worse . plus, I'll never get another endoscopy again. I feel worse since the day i had it
