Barretts oesophagus

Just been diagnosed with Barrett's Oesophagus (low grade dyspalasia) and am a little scared. Can anyone tell me if they have developed cancer from this?

How old are you? How long is you Barrett's segment? What medication has been prescribed to you?
There is low probability of Barrett's developing into cancer. You should take your medication, watch your diet and do your endoscopies more frequently.

Don't know lenght!! Just at follow up with doc over somethink else and she checked. Haven't received anything from consultant yet . . she said it could take weeks!
Am 48 - Female - on Lansoprazole 30mg one daily

Well, you'll just have to undergo frequent endoscopies, every year or even every 6 months just to check if this is getting worser, you'll have to wait for your consultant... Don't worry too much, it's not so bad as it sounds...
