Bartholins abscess ruptured - what does it look like when it’s healing?Advice welcome

Please help - I had a Bartholins abcess rupture 3 weeks ago - at work - it was horrendous but the pain relief welcome. It has settled loads but I noticed the hole where it ruptured seem to be blocked with white goo but solidified. I squeezed it out but it has reformed the same. Is this part of the healing process? It is a sizeable hole like a 5p or dime size. I guess you dont get a scab like you would on normal skin?? Please help I'm worried I shouldnt have squeezed it!! Thanks

It is still draining. soak in a hot bath for a few days. Once the infection is out, it will heal up. You will know when all the infection is gone because it will not have that odor anymore.

Thanks for replying. Odor went a couple of days after rupturing. What does it look like when healing though? Do you get a scab?

I unfortunately can't soak in the bath as having problems on the other side where I've had one excised - soaking not helpful on the surgery side.
