Hi im lisa and im 23 I'm so glad to be reading all these and to know I'm not alone is a relief. I'm now on my second cyst the first one at 21 got really bad couldn't walk sit or nothing I was afraid to go to hospital as for i was unaware at the time about the bartholins cyst. They done the marsupialization straight away. I recovered well until now two years later it's back sad I was in A&E twice and they just gave me antibiotics and pain relief I now have this cyst 2 months and they won't remove it because it's only 2cm they said they antibiotics would get rid of it but its still there no bigger or less. The doctor also said to me that this is just my life now with these till I get menopause that there's nothing they could do when he left all I could do was sit there and cry my eyes out. I've been doing the sitz baths the whole lot spent lots of money on different things but nothing seems to drain it. It is really ruining my life and depressing me I can't wear jeans or nothing anymore and I'm currently in a relationship which this could come between us I'd this keeps happening. I'm looking to find hope in a solution and just looking for advice on getting the whole gland removed as for i do not wish to go through this for the rest of my life as I'm already giving up hope sad

    Dr Lisa even I m facing same problem....And also thinking to get rid of this gland....In another 3 months m getting married....It's so embarrassing na if it happens after my marriage.....But this time my cyst is not so big m trying sitZ bath as u do....So dr I would like to sujjest home remedy if want u can try it....Make turmeric and coconut oil paste and apply it on lump and leave it for 2 hr...thn apply a bit of salt and baking soda and apply that to lump with the help of cottan pad....It burns a bit u can take some pain killer...Last time it worked for me....So give it a try if u wish....because it helps to pop up the lump.....Hope it helps you.....Don't be stressed....Dr take care....And another thing..... just pray dr .....,,,😊

      Hi I would like to thank you for this suggestion but I have already been trying that home remedy and still am but unfortunately it's just not bursting it's just staying as it always is sad I hope your goes for you and enjoy your wedding day smile there such horrible things to go through I just think there should be more awareness and exportation needs to be done around this area for women who suffers with this thank you for your reply hopefully we get more information about removing the gland.

      Ur most welcome....Dr...M afraid that my cyst may get infected and grow back and give a pain like hell....Just hoping it should not.....,,,😊
