Hi ladies can I ask wot u were advised re bath /shower, I was advised not to bath but wasn't told for how long. Matron wot would u advise, I'm desperate for a nice long soak.

    Hi Jan, I was told I could have a bath 2 days after surgery. No bubble bath to be used though.

    It all depends on what type of internal sutures are used. If you weren't given any information I would say it's quite safe to have a bath but just water, no bubble bath.

    Hi I was told baths are fine but not really hot, depends what you consider hot really though..

    After my surgery I was told no baths for 6 weeks but as I said it depends on the type of sutures your consultant has used
