BC surgery

I am currently on my 5th BC in about 3 years. This one has been pretty painless for almost a year. It's continuing to grow and is bigger than ever (between egg and an baseball) and starting to get painful. Any good home remedies that work?

Also last time I had a BC drained, my Dr was talking about a surgery to remove the entire gland. Does anyone have any advice on that procedure?

Thanks

Have you had the gland removal surgery? If so can you tell me a little about it. I went online and could only find horror stories.

I am 52 now....I had it when I was about 17....and it was scary...and the worst part for me was I felt like some kind of a tramp.  My mother was trying to convince me it was sexually transmitted.

Which it is NOT...it is a malfunction of those glands.

Mine has never come back...so its worth the one day of whatever your experience will be.

I had the gland and cyst removed in February of this year. It was a painful 3 weeks of not being able to sit, lay down or walk. By 6 weeks I was almost back to normal. I still have a little pain from time to time but it's tolerable and I expect it'll go away at some point. I also read tons of horror stories and was afraid to have it done. I'm glad I did it and had a great doctor.
