Hi everyone. I just to share how im feeling and i hope to find people to encourage me to deal with this. I been feeling bad for 6 months now. I was diagnosed with acid reflux 10 years ago, i was ok then, didnt really struggle with it. I ate what i wanted and only had symptoms once in awhile. Until 6 months ago i woke up with palpitation, felt like having heart attack. Went to doctor and yes it got worse , now i GERD with the worse symptoms. Been having dizziness the moment i get up in bed, having this blurry vision and very sensitive to light, i get legs and arms muscle ache, tension headache, tightness of the throat, i dont really get much heartburn and stomach pain, sorethroat, clearing throat often, i also have seasonal allergy, and this weird feeling like im in the outer space lol. Im really get depressed especially when i feel worse. Anyone feel this way?

See your doc for a check up and discuss all the descriptions of unwellness you are experiencing. GERD can be controlled it takes time. I hope you follow thru with your doctor to get thru to a better place. See the patient UK info on GERD .
i wonder if you could be menopausal some symptoms seem to match up. Only your doctor can make a diagnosis. I have no medical history or any age for determination the many symptoms you are experiencing.
Hope you get theu this and feel better soon. 😊

Good for you. Sometimes we need to find someone who is more helpful and take our health issues and treat what we have regardless if they beleive it all stree. Then the symptoms are treatable.
Take care.😊

First of alI I have to tell you that I have every single symptom you just described. It started out with feeling light headed and short of breath as soon I would lie back on my pillow try to sleep. I had to sleep straight up in bed! Then the palpitations started... really fast heart rate after just a little alcohol or sometimes out of know where , but always accompanied by reflux and stomach symptoms. I had/have. Dizziness, lights bother me , neck muscles weak and couldn't go for my long walks without feeling light headed and in outer space. I've been to lots of doctors and done lots of reading. Found out I had a few allergies and my inner nose is irritated and infected , but mostly they trhink the symptoms are caused by.... reflux!!! What am I doing ? Well, as much as I hate to be on a PPI, I went back on my omeprazole and trying to overhaul my diet . Gave up wine for now and trying to also heal the root cause of my reflux. I have seen ENT, allergist, GI, a cardiologist and a psychologist ( I've heard anxiety a lot ). There is definite connection between the stomach and brain and something I read called cardiogenic gastritis which involves the vagal nerve that runs between your stomach and heart and when your stomach gets irritated , the heart can follow. So I am working at it from all angles and hope that by healing the stomach I will begin to feel like my former self again sometime soon... it's been 10 months for me and it sucks. I really do know what you are going through!

Im taking ranitidine 300 mg twice a day. Ppi's doesn't work on me anymore. Im having this new symptoms, i feel itchy in different part of my body, not my skin but inside my flesh, like itchy feeling inside my back, arms, legs, head. I had my blood test and everything normal. I cant do anything without feeling dizzy, i started taking anti vertigo medicine but it seems the same. My doctor said it must be stress which i agree there is connection. I started taking iron supplements and probiotic. I also eat small meal every 3 or 4 hrs. I dont know how im gonna get better, i just wanna get back with my normal life, i missed how im used to be.

It very well, could be possible . I'm so sorry Tony!
My friend had a small intentional bleed . He had three transfusions of blood the a few weeks time. They did a endoscope colonoscopy couldn't find anything yet he was loosing blood somewhere internally. The pill camera was put to work. The camera goes tru the entire digestion system end to end literally. Every centimeter is recorded. They found a small vein in the small intestines that had ruptured. Repaired it and was likely caused by anti inflammatory OTC medication.. the doctors said these pills sometimes get caught in the intestines and stay in one area as they desolve and can wear thru a small vein in the intestines.
I am not a fan of taking iron as it can plug me up so a gentle stool softener helps if the dr prescribes iron. Also eating foods cooked in iron pots and salt that has been ionized is another way to get iron without the side effects.
Hope you can get to feeling better soon. Sleep with you head above your knees. Drink plenty of water. And don't eat after 8 pm has helped me . Everyone is different sometimes I have to take OTC anti acids but not nearly as often since I started sleeping with my bed lifted up at the head. It's a numbers bed that foot and head lifts like a hospital bed has a control system like a remote for tv.
Mabe this can help you thru this. GERD can be very serious. You sound like you eat a clean diet and stay away from spicy foods.
Coffee was my biggest enemy quit the all day cups to stay awake just down to two in the am now. .
do some research on line something may pop up. Sometimes we are for some reason predisposed to things. Our neurotransmitters get overloaded stress is a factor and something gets the wrong messages and illness can be a issue.
For restless legs cramps medication for that too and i o and I get them get up and walk to stretch legs and I find that magnesium spray helps. I really hate that restless leg it is miserable. Hope your doc can also help you for that issue .
Peace and healing sent your way!
Hugs 👍
