hi, well I have stopped Sertraline of 25mg for two days now, and I just dont feel like myself at all, im very sluggish and brainfogged, i have a nonstop ringing in my right ear, im still not able to fall asleep or sleep for a long time, my eyes hurt when exposed to bright lights like being outside.

for some reason every since i started and ended taking sertraline I have been afraid to go to sleep, afraid that i wont wake up or ill have very vivid nightmares. also the echoing in my head of the screaming of my name has definetly lessened greatly, but i feel like when i wake up its due to the echos in my sleep and the ringing in my right ear is absolutely horrid when trying to fall asleep. but not as bad during the day.

is this something i should be concerned about?

should i contact my doctor about this?

is this something my doctor needs to know?

is there anything that can help with the ringing?

so sorry to hear all your symptoms.

Go back to the Doctor right away.

I was om Sert , now on Venlafaxine which seem to suit me.

you may need to try several before you get the right one.

I pray the next one works for you.

Tell him your not sleeping because not sleeping makes symptoms worse.

    good luck

I also have the ringing in my ears.. when you sleep at night try having a fan on to drowned that out, it helps me sleep.. I've read over time the ringing fades.. I'm so nervous about coming off Sertraline.. good luck!!
