Hi Andrew for what it is worth I would say give it more time, you will have blips along the way, wait another 3 or 4 days and if you still feel the same then speak to your Dr about an increase but do it slowly, if they say to go up to 100 then do it in 25 or even 12.5 this way you maybe able to avoid getting all the side effects back again and can judge better what dose you need. I have been on 50 since Jan and there have been times that I felt I needed to increase but gave it 7 days and it corrected itself and I am back to normal now, what ever that is!

hia, ive been on sertraline for 24 weeks now. i gradually increased from 50mg to 150mg. i still get some edgey feelings/ anxiety in the morning which is often the worst time. Is it your mood that is lower (worse) in the morning or anxious feelings or both? Are you sleeping ok?

hi i suffered terrible with my sleep, but got back to summat normal, but the last 4 days been waking a few times during the night, its both my moods lower with anxious feelings, seem to pick up towards midday

i think it would be worth speaking to your Gp about a potential doseage increase and you need to speak to your GP ABOUT THE SLEEP ISSUE

hi melanie thanks for the advice on upping the dose felt really good since upping the dose n sleepings back to normal

same thing happened to me but at 100mg and turned out it was because they had changed the generic brand of sertraline which can cause side effects and change in symptoms so check nothing has changed. otherwise give it a few days and things will probably settle again

hi elaine , i keep on getting different brands everytime i get my prescription didnt know it makes a difference?

different brands can make a difference, it is not the actually drug it's self but the fillers and ingredients used in production, try to recall the brand you were on previous to your set back, ask for a paper prescription and find a chemist that regularly stocks that brand. If you are feeling better in the afternoons\evening then the drug is working

like Sue said find the brand you were ok on and stick to it. although the sertraline is the same the other ingredients are different which can cause a difference in how your body absorbs it. for example one brand might be absorbed by your body aye 85% yet the other brand only 70% hence the constant side effects.
