Been on Escitalopram (10) 13 days

Yesterday was pretty good, today was not. Spent hours shoveling snow. Got my 10,000 steps in. The anxiety has eased for the past few days but then the sadness steps in. It’s two weeks today so I have a while to go. Want to the therapist yesterday she just said let the tears and the screams out to release the emotions. Next Wednesday I see the psychiatrist, but another nor’easter might come. Vigorous exercise helps the anxiety. Hope you are doing well.

i did have some bad waves of side effects today headache and stomach cramps as well as anxiety>

Had a bad day to.       This anxiety is a problem.     Shaking and being sad.  Woke up sick.     Hopefully tomorrow will be better  For both of us.          Did the doctor change your meds?     You’re still on lexapro 10 ?  Hope u have a good night

Did you have any morning headaches when started Lexapro 10 mgs. I am not taking as much Klonopin so anxiety is easing a little.

Hi.  No Headaches but I always have a nauseous stomach in the morning today I didn’t feel as bad as I have been tied it is day by day for me I take Xanax for my anxiety and I only so far took 1/2 tablet so I guess I could say I am having a good day still shaky though    Sometimes I would get a slight headache later in the evening but it would go away went for a bike ride this morning to try not to have to take that half a Zanni but when I got back I had to take it.     With me it seems to be day by day depends on how I wake up in the morning I am laying in the sun and hopefully that is helping me relax so I won’t need my Xanax as much     I do feel like I need one now but I am not going to take the other half until later I don’t want to just stop the Xanax is either been on them for a long time.   I do hope that you don’t have to take any stronger strength of the Lexapro I hope that the Lexapro 10 will work for you as it did for me when I first started taking it back in the day it just stopped working for me in August . Then Dr put me back on it after trying others let me know how you’re doing as the day progresses tonight .I hope you feel better all day long 👍🏻

 Do you only take your Clonopin at night for sleep 

No I take .25 in the morning. If I need it. At night I listen to a meditation body scan tape which helps me sleep and a 5mg melatonin. How long did it take the Lexapro to kick in the first time you took it. Did you have side effects then? What other antidepressants did you try.

i am trying to cry if I need to when I feel sad. Letting out my emotions has always been hard for me, which causes problems

Lynn I haven’t cried in forever I don’t have it in me I think that’s what’s the problem I have been on boost bar I don’t know what that is I didn’t like that she put me on Viibryd that made me go nuts and now I’m on Lexapro 10 and Xanax for anxiety but I just talk to my doctor and she just said for me to get viscer Lynn I haven’t cried in forever I don’t have it in me I think that’s what’s the problem I have been on boost bar I don’t know what that is I didn’t like that she put me on Viibryd that made me go nuts and now I’m on Lexapro 10 and Xanax for anxiety but I just talk to my doctor and she just said for me  she would call me in a prescription to help me with my anxiety more than Xanax it’s called VISTARIL it’s Anna histamine to stop shaking she said she would call it in for me and then it should help I don’t know I’m a little upset because my doctor is not talking to me like she should be really at this time I should be crying but I can’t cry either she’s in Pennsylvania and I’m in Florida  I am trying to have a good time  I noticed also like I said I can’t cry it might come out a little bit but I haven’t had a cry in years and yes I think that is a big problem the medicine that she subscribed me is also for nausea I don’t know I just hope it works while I’m down in Florida then I will go home and really have to figure out what the hell Is going on I still have another week here so hopefully as the days go by I will get better just like you will I really thought that she would have told me to up my Lexapro to 15 mg but she didn’t.
