About 4 months ago started feeling light headed no spinning just feeling like I'm drunk! I have lots of crackling and popping in my ears but left ear doesn't pop! Feels like it's blocked! Had blood test all

Fine also had audio testing done hearing is all fine but left ear pressure is 25 per cent less than the right ear!! My symptoms have not really got any worst but not really any better tend to get lots of headaches on and off but not too bad! Does anybody have any ideas what could be causing this or had similar? Would love some advice please!

Hi,  I know it’s been a while & hopefully you are all sorted now.  I’ve this problem in both ears for 10 weeks & like that it’s driving me crazy.  I have tried everything natural, antibiotic, sprays you name it I’ve tried it & of course trying to pop the ears.  Dr, says both Eustachian tubes are blocked, just feel drunk & anxious I’m also worried is the Dr putting this down to anxiety 🙄 if you can might you let me know how you are now & as I say hopefully you are all sorted. If so how?  T’u in advance.

    Hi,

How are you doing now? Hope you are fine now and would love to hear an update from you.

Do you also have a dull pain below your ears? Your symptoms match mine, but without the headaches.

Also, is your lightheadedness one sided or overall?

    Thanks!

    hey!

i have the same symptoms as you! Just got blood test back today saying everything is fine except im rather low on vitamin d.

That still doesnt explain my fatigue, heavy head sensation.

I literally feel like i have low blood sugar even when Im supposedly okay. Also i can hear my heart beat loud and clear now especially when i start to walk.

Doctor chalked it up as an inner ear infection thats causing me to be discombobulated. Some hrs are better than others but I have at least one moment each day where I go into fight or flight mode, and feel like passing out. It sucks

Its been two months now, but i try to stay positive. Maybe its all in our heads?

Id like to add that I developed these symptoms a few weeks after having flu-like symptoms. So at least I have some comfort in knowing it may be flu related and not cancer etc

Just came across this forum and realized that I have very similar symptoms. However, my symptoms also started with unusual taste and smell which is no longer that much of an issue. The subtle ear pressure and dizziness are quite annoying.

I have gone to my general practitioner, allergist, ENT, and neurologist. After a variety of tests and medication, my symptoms persist.

Have you been able to determine the cause of your ear pressure and dizziness?

Just curious, if anyone has any recommendations.

    Hi everyone,

Im new to this site and have literally been experiencing the exact same symptoms! Been for around 11 months now, had MRI came back clear, waiting for neurologist but due to COVID its taken a while.

Has anyone found anything that can help?! Ive seen a few people below reply stating anxiety tablets have helped them, im not really feeling anxious at all...

Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Hi everyone l too am suffering these noises, maybe we should start by just listing our symptoms and see if we can come up with something?

Crackling/crinkling sound whenever l move my head (sounds like rice crispies! Sounds like its coming from the back of my head/base of skull - not my neck)

    Sinus problems

    Stiff neck

    Tight shoulders

    Light-headedness (diagnosed vestibular migraines)

Tinnitus (sounds like steel works and white noise

Blurred vision also feels like somethings in eyes

Achy head (headache but not bad enough to take medication)

    Acid reflux

Ear infection (about a year ago but l felt it hasn't been the same since)

    Fibromyalgia

Ferritin and b12 a little high

Hopefully we can find some similarities.

Hello all i have the same exact symptoms. Mine is fullness in right ear with the drunk off balance feeling. Saw my doc who referred me to ent. Saw tge ent who removed some wax and gave me some allergy meds and told me its probably allergy related but scheduled me for a balance and hearing test. This has been consuming my life at this point and need to figure out whats going on. Im not getting headaches just a constant pressure in my ear and the off balance feeling. Im starting to get nervous at this point. Someone mentioned could be fluid in the ear. Im due to go back to docs tomorrow. Hopefully they can figure it out.
