    hi there,

i have been through a similar situation, fell ill last august 2017 with nausea, diarhoea, stomach problems, then got awful muscular aches all over, headaches, ear pain, fatigue, felt like i had flu, would sometimes go then come back, had every test they could give me, Gp and infectious disease dr said virus, now post viral syndrome. Gradually slowly i got better (a colleague from work had it too), sometimes some symptoms returned for short periods , but now more than a year later i feel back to normal. Make sure dr rules other things out but considers a virus. I kniw it can be a dissatisfying diagnosis but you then have an excellent chance of recovery. Eat well, look after yourself, rest plenty. Take heart in them finding nothing seriously wrong. There are many unknown viruses out there. The nausea was rough, especially for months on end , i felt so ill at times, like nothing i'd had before, and for so long. But it did go away. Hope this helps. People rarely post back on these sites when theyre better as they just want to forget about their illness and get on with their lives but people get better all the time. Pursue what you can through your doctor, but if all leads to no answers it might just clear up by itself. what struck me about your symptoms is that it started with your stomach (nausea) then gave you aching and then flu like symptoms that come and go. Very similar trajectory that my illness took. look into post viral syndrome . good luck and i hope you feel better

Hi thanks for the reply. I had bloods done in may and it showed positive for the ANA test and possible autoimmune disease. It's still under investigation. I am seeing a private endocrinologist. Thinking it's maybe a hormonal thing also.
