So I cant find this anywhere on the web. Not sure where to post this but I've read several studies that say the stapedius muscle becomes paralyzed in bell palsy and sometimes causes hyperacusis. I was just wondering does the stapedius muscle function return to normal and hyperacusis go away after bell palsy goes away?
