Bells Palsy Day 4

Posted , 2 users are following.

So I got diagnosed with Bells Palsy on my right on Sunday 03/12/17. I don't feel like my condition was very severe. I am able to close my right eye slowly. I got acupuncture done Tuesday and found good improvement was able to shut my eye more and with less force and my bottom lip seemed to be getting movement. However tonight I started feeling numbness on my left side around my eye and my nostril when I flex it. Is this normal? Has anyone had this as well? Could it be because my left side muscles are just tired since they've been working harder to pick up slack? Or could my Bells be spreading to the left side as well?

I'm interested on your progress.  Haven't heard of it spreading from one side to another.  How did you get it?

      Hi Sharon,

So I went to see my doctor the next day after and he just specified that it's because my muscles on my left side are working extra hard to make up for the right that is causing them to become sore or tired. I still have full movement and control so it did not spread
