Hi I'm on income related esa and I've just put In for severe disability premium and esa said they call you back within 3 days to give you a decision is this normal as I thought I would just be sent a letter

To be honest, i've never heard of them making a decision that quickly for the SDP. Usually it's a few weeks at least and i've never heard of them ringing anyone with the decision before. As it's DWP, i suppose anything is possible. Don't be surprised if you don't receive a call in 3 days.. or 3 working days because 3 days would take it to Saturday and DWP don't work Saturdays.
