Benicar question

If anyone has taken Benicar (Olmesartan), and had to move to a different BP medication because of side effects, what did you move to? I am getting terrible gastro side effects and need to come up with an idea of what I can move to. Did you have to wean off of it before starting the other medication? I have been on Losartan, Metoprolol, Amlodipine, Lisinopril and Benicar so far. I could go back on Losartan because the only side effect I had with it was swollen ankles and I can live with that over these terrible stomach and bowel issues. Going for an endoscope on Tuesday and hoping that answers some questions. Please if there is another BP med that you have found works for you please let me know.

    I do not think a doctor would prescribe you with something that causes more problems then it solves. Speak to your doctor and he will guide you into success.
