My Dad has been diagnosed with COPD. He is having persistent cough and breathlessness. Please advise the best line of treatment for COPD. He has difficulty in performing day to day activity.

I have what is known as ILD ( Interstitial Lung Disease) an inflammation of my lung
This makes me short of breath on the shortest of walks (down the road & back & have to use my spray before I go out
Obviously I can no longer go to the gym at all which is quite depressing because prior to that years ago I used to go to my local gym & use their running machines & cycling machines
I still go horseriding - but preferring to walk the horse rather than trot & canter to make life easier -Last friday I went -& I did a short trot from one lamppost to another & was shattered after it & had to take a rest
Im doing a wellbeing course lasting 7 weeks organised by the rehab when I went to the rehab classes & glad its via teams instead of going into a classroom
